A Locally Owned Alberta Kitchen Built on Fresh Ingredients
Fresh Grill Kitchen began as a chef-driven neighbourhood restaurant with a simple idea: cook everything fresh, cook it to order, and buy as much of it as possible from the people next door. Our produce, proteins and pantry staples come from local farms, greenhouses and Alberta suppliers, so more food dollars stay in the communities we serve.
That approach shows up on the plate. Handcrafted burgers and steaks share our menu with butter chicken, creamy pasta, Asian rice bowls, fresh grilled salmon, gnocchi chicken pesto, a crisp Caesar salad and shareable appetizers — a genuinely broad menu so no one at the table has to settle. Guests often call us a hidden gem, and we think that comes down to fresh ingredients, generous portions and fair prices.
It started in 2016 with Fresh Grill Kitchen & Lounge, our family-run kitchen on 50 Avenue in downtown Wetaskiwin, serving premier steaks — including AAA Alberta Beef — home-made pastas and mouth-watering appetizers to a growing circle of regulars from Garden Meadows, Centennial, Parkside, Millet and Maskwacis. Fresh Grill Kitchen Stonyplain followed as our second Alberta location, on 50 Street in Stony Plain, minutes from Old Town, Forest Green, Graybriar and Genesis on the Lakes, and serving neighbours across Spruce Grove. Both locations offer dine-in, takeout, delivery, catering and online ordering, seven days a week.
Fresh ingredients from local farms and greenhouses, cooked to order by our own kitchen team — and served the way we'd want to be served ourselves.
